Purist Insulated Chromatek bottles still incorporate an amorphous silicon dioxide coating on the inner bottle wall. Essentially, this forms a glass-like finish that provides a completely natural and entirely inert solution to the problem of beverages staining the bottle or leaving a residual taste. This infusion also prevents fresh water from tasting like plastic on hot days, making it akin to drinking straight from a clean, shiny glass.
