Trail has a branded badge with an Iridium® coating that mirrors the colours of the Prizm™ lenses found on Oakley eyewear. The colour of each badge is unique to the colour of the helmet, and all celebrate Oakley's optical heritage.

- FIT: The Oakley® engineered 360° fit system incorporates a height-adjustable gasket for a comfortable, custom fit. A rubberized micro-selector ensures the fit and the extra wide gasket is designed to increase system stability. The fit system is seamlessly integrated with the Mips® safety system, a further step in the brand's Skull Matrix technology.
- COMFORT: DRT3 Trail features the innovative Sweat Guard ciliary padding and traditional textile padding on the top of the helmet. The silicone gel Sweat Guard system helps retain and wick sweat away from the forehead to keep the goggles dry, and the textile padding adds more points of contact to increase overall comfort.
- LINING: Ionic+™ antimicrobial lining is activated to control sweat and odour and keep you fresh.
- GOGGLASS STORAGE: Ventilation slots in the front give riders a space to store their goggles with ease. Unobtainium® grips hold goggle temples in place; and foam cut-outs on the inside of the helmet prevent damage to the wearer's head in the event of an impact, creating a simple and intuitive storage space for riders.
- PROTECTION: The Mips® safety system is designed to offer increased safety against a variety of accidents by helping to reduce damage from the forces of potential impacts to the wearer's head.
- VENTILATION: Sixteen ventilation slots are designed to help hot air escape from the helmet during exercise or at rest, and two large front slots direct cool air to the rider's forehead, allowing for easier cooling and helping to reduce the chance of fogging.
- VISOR: The visor is adjustable at four points, resulting in a perfect fit for style and functionality, and allows the rider to switch between putting on and putting away the goggles with ease.
