The new Oben jacket represents Etxeondo's ability to develop a more technologically advanced product where innovation, design and protection play a fundamental role, an exclusive jacket that will make any cyclist feel unique. There are no more excuses for not going out to train on cold winter days.
It is made entirely of Gore-Tex Infinium Windstopper fabric, both chest and back and sleeves. The advantages of this fabric are a total resistance to wind while maintaining stable body temperature, offering maximum breathability allowing the steam produced by sweat to escape to the outside and ensuring both comfort and freedom of movement for its excellent elasticity and fit.
It also has a water-repellent outer treatment to limit water penetration on rainy days without altering the properties of the fabric. On the inside flap we also use the same fabric to minimize water ingress from the zipper.
To reinforce protection against the cold, the entire inside of the jacket has a Warm Plus fleece with a micro-cell structure. Its function is thermoregulatory by creating small air capsules between the skin and the fabric that expel excess heat produced by the body to the outside and in turn prevent the cold from the outside from coming into contact with the skin.
The cut of the jacket is Slim Fit, which is a slim fit that fits close to the body and highlights the cyclist's figure. This type of fit favors the properties of the Gore-Tex Infinium Windstopper fabric and avoids the uncomfortable sail effect.
We do not overlook the careful design of the set, using a technique exclusive to Etxeondo we treat the fabric in certain areas giving it an outer texture similar to leather. Three easily accessible elastic back pockets and especially the central pocket has a reflective back pocket to increase the safety of the rider on the road and an extra pocket where you can store valuables.
