With the Recon 1.0 our goal was simple ? to put S-Works Recon inspired performance into a much more affordable package. Easier said than done, but we created a shoe with comfort and efficiency using the Body Geometry knowledge in a durable, earth-focused shoe. So, yes, mission accomplished.

Using our unique STRIDE toe-flex technology, the nylon outer sole uses a TPU injected into the front of the shoe for natural movement outside the bike, while providing you with a stiffness index of 6.0 for pedal performance. The Recon 1.0 is a double threat ? pedal efficiency with comfort and confidence outside the bike.

To create traction outside the bike in wet or dry, gravel or earth, we cover the nylon sole with our SlipNot compound. We also lift the heel for an even more natural feeling while walking.

Three Velcro fasteners make it easy to put on the Recon 1.0 and create a thoughtful fit for everyday comfort and performance and situations, whether your ride imposes straddles, twisted single-tracks or even those days that require a lot of hike-a-bike.
