With the 148mm rear axle and 110mm front axle edition, the Roval Traverse Fattie 650b 148 mountain bike wheels went from being nimble to becoming true pulling machines. The reason for this is simple: Aside from a lightweight, bombproof E5 alloy construction, by combining a wide 29mm rim with wider hub flanges, these wheels dramatically increase stiffness, stability and traction.

The additional width allows for greater tire volume, which means more flexibility in ride quality. Not only that, but the wider width also supports the tire better, which means you'll experience less "burping" when riding tubeless. However, it's not just a workhorse.

At the front hub, you'll get a 15x110mm thru axle (plug options are included), and at the rear, the hub features DT Swiss internal components for lightning-fast engagement and acceleration. And if that's not enough, these wheels are hand-built to ensure perfect tension and long service life. Please note that the 148 version is designed exclusively for use with bikes designed with 110x15mm front axle and 148mm rear axle standards.
