Thank our engineer Chuck Teixeira for inventing the “Roval ThreadBed valve,” which threads directly into the rim. This clever design eliminates compression nuts, prevents air loss due to rim flex, makes tire mounting easier, and reduces sealant clogs.

The i9 1/1 hub optimizes control with a dual-phase ratchet system, featuring 90 engagement points and a 4° engagement angle thanks to six pawls and a 45-tooth driver.
