S-WORKS TORCH
The S-Works Torch is the latest evolution of the most winning cycling footwear. Using Body Geometry combined with biomimicry, data science, and obsessive craftsmanship, we have designed a shoe so carefully built that you’ll forget you're wearing it.
Leveraging data science, we have refined every detail of the S-Works Torch upper to improve fit and performance. The BOA® cable is displaced downward and angled, preventing the ball of the foot from lifting and providing a structure that enhances power while eliminating unwanted pressure or pinching. The adaptable materials allow for the natural movement of the foot when needed for comfort, while the data-driven zonal reinforcement keeps the foot secure for a sharp power transfer and optimal efficiency.
Guided by over 100,000 foot scans from our RETÃœL fit data, we recognized that both a standard and a wide carbon base plate would better serve the spectrum of human foot shapes. An internal I-beam adds rigidity and strength, eliminating the need for additional reinforcements. The result is a 20-gram weight reduction, greater efficiency, and immediate power transfer.
Following RETÃœL's biomechanical data, we created an asymmetric heel cup that promotes the natural alignment of the knee and provides the positive hold that cyclists love, while enhancing comfort by leaving more space for the Achilles tendon.
The S-Works Torch is scientifically designed to disappear on your feet and at the front.
The new upper features reinforcements in key zones while offering adaptable fit zones to create a disappearing fit on the foot.
Based on the data collected from Retül foot scanners, the new base plate is 4mm wider in the ball zone than the previous generation S-Works 7 shoes.
By optimizing its construction, the new carbon plate is 20g lighter than the S-Works 7. An internal "I-Beam" ensures it maintains the same stiffness as the previous generation.
An updated last uses Retül data to better adapt to the shape of cyclists' feet, tilting more to the lateral side to provide a snug, foot-hugging fit.
The asymmetric heel cup secures the medial side and removes material from the lateral side, allowing for a lower collar.
The updated BOA® wiring improves the hold and reduces pressure on the anterior ankle ligaments.

The titanium alloy cleat nuts can rotate to position the pedals/cleats 5mm backward. The three-screw cleat pattern fits most road pedals.
Replaceable anti-slip cleats with internal screws for added security.
