Degrees of Difference

Degrees make a difference. The progressive geometry of Scalpel has evolved even further: we have a head tube angle that is one and a half degrees more relaxed, and a seat tube angle that is one degree more vertical, creating an XC bike that is more aggressive, faster, and stable everywhere, whether at the World Cup or on your local course.

It is the key to the incredible suspension performance of the Scalpel and its surprising lightness. The flattened sections of the chainstays, designed in carbon fiber and patented, create the effect of a Horst Link pivot, and are lighter and stiffer than ball bearings. Incredibly durable.
